Our journey began when we lost our beloved Newfoundland, Merlin. We learned that if we left Merlin in the care of our veterinary practice without specifying a preferred crematorium, he would automatically be sent to a contracted crematorium on a weekly run. This meant he would be transported outside of the area alongside other animals awaiting cremation, with his ashes returned on the next scheduled collection.

We wanted Merlin to be collected on his own, cremated individually, and brought back to his family as quickly as possible. Above all, we wanted reassurance that his body was being treated with the utmost care and respect. Dissatisfied with the options available to us, we established Heavenly Pets. Our focus is to provide individual, private cremations for pets, ensuring that each pet is given the personalised attention and dignity they deserve.
